A trip engraved on my heart Castle Bera, These two words are now a wonderful memory engraved on my heart. What a wonderful stay, a historical rich place linked to Jodhpur and Udaipur royal families linking to Maharana Pratap himself. The owners/hosts make you feel at home away from home, the breakfast talks post safari, wonderful lunch meals, evening safari and the sundowner are to die for. Each day we spent there was different, be it the clear skies in the morning, to the rollercoaster off-road drives to the leopard caves or the zero light pollution giving you the clear skies where one can just stargaze for hours and not feel bored. The host keeps you well indulged with his experience of leopard safaris and ensures you are taken care of. A must visit place for any nature enthusiasts or any solo/couple/family looking for a lifetime experience There are many jain temples nearby like in Juna bera, Ranakupur and Kumbhalgarh hardly an hour's drive.

Castle Bera: where words fail to explain your experience. One of the best properties I've stayed in. The old world charm of the property, the beautiful architecture, the warm and homely welcome by the host, wonderful food, beautiful lawns, exquisite meals and the amazing leopard sightings makes it a complete package. The hosts don't hesitate to go an extra mile to make the guests feel more than welcome and ensure that the stay is one to be remembered. The old world charm of the place will make you fall in love with the castle, the long peaceful evenings, zero light pollution gives you a wonderful night sky view, sitting on the terrace and enjoying a great conversation with the owners talking about leopards, the rich history of the castle and his adventures, is something you can't get enough of.A must visit homestay for anyone who is wishing for a pleasant and memorable trip.

Desert magic Castle Bera is a beautiful heritage hotel, located in the heart of leopard spotting country in Rajasthan. We had a lovely room, great food and two desert safaris where we spotted leopards. ‘Winkoo’ our host, was a marvellous source of anecdotes about his many relatives in the royal families of the main areas of Rajasthan. A truly exceptional experience with great food and hospitality.

All the small joys of Jawai Second time here. First with family and this time with college friends. Spent 2 days but packed with 4 safaris. The experience is designed to be intimate. Large rooms but very few mean that everyone is taken care of in terms of food preferences, comfortable layouts and wonderful jeep experiences on the safaris. Everyone is served lunch and dinner in a common dining room with a wonderful outdoor option. Got to be some of the best drivers and guides for the safaris, They also know every nook and corner, scale the off-roading rocks and mountains with ease, spot the big cats and animals and take you to the best spots. Equidistant from Jodhpur and Udaipur and with a very welcoming staff and Raja saheb, it’s a lovely experience to visit Jawai through the eyes and lenses of Castle Bera.

One of the best Heritage Homestay A very unique stay in Rajasthan, Castle Bera offers an experience of royalty in homestay style. Castle Bera is a 360-year-old heritage property today, run by Thakur Baljeet Singh ji and his family. Castle Bera, which was built in the Rajput style, has been converted into a heritage homestay experience where guests can experience life as a royal. There are only 5 rooms available for the guest to stay in, ensuring that it is not a business hotel but a passion to preserve the legacy, culture, and tradition. From the vast rooms showcasing the richness of Thakur, who had lived here before, to the delicious Rajasthani home-cooked meals and even the best safari routes for leopard spotting, Castle Bera ensures that guests have a memorable experience during their stay in Bera town.We had one of the best experiential stays in Castle Bera, and safari in Jawai is something one should definitely do during their visit to Jawai.
